Lex knows that Andy deserves to know the entire truth about his past. But when Andy (unexpectedly) meets his family and tries to fit in with the people in his tax bracket, more details about his life before her come to light. Soon it seems like she’s going up against the world just to be with the man she loves. And just when they thought they could move on and plan a future together, Lex’s past catches up with him in the most devastating way.
Review
D’Arcy delivers another complex, heartfelt, sexy and hilarious ride in The Passion Parameter. After finishing the first book, I couldn’t get Andy and Lex out of my head. And the sequel only amplifies my love for them and their story. Their journey is relatable and authentic, filled with real-world obstacles such as toxic family members, self-doubt, cognitive issues, and strong unfamiliar feelings.
I appreciate that we get more of Lex’s POV in this story. Desperate and groveling Lex is my favorite Lex. And when they finally make it official and share the news – the reactions from other characters are hysterical. I love how their friends are rooting for them, because I am too. Just beware of the massive cliffhanger coming at the end. I finished this book in less than 48 hours and now comes the torturous wait to learn how their story ends. Either way, romance readers who enjoy plenty of steamy scenes and complicated characters with big feelings need to move this series to the top of their reading lists.
