Erica Wright sets the tone right away in Hollow Bones. Right from the get-go we’re introduced to two main characters – the charismatic pastor who took over the serpent-handling church, and the reporter trying to get to the bottom of the story of how the church ended up in flames. As we continue to meet the other characters, we slowly learn more about the congregation’s history and the deep scars it left for them. Read more
