I’ve only read one other romance series that follows the same couple throughout the entire trilogy. Some readers may think it’s excessive and unnecessary. And for most stories, I might agree. But Charlotte and Lucifer are a bit different.
During the first two books, we see their love grow from boss-employee to something deeper. Even the devil has room for character growth. And watching him fall hopelessly in love was all kinds of delicious. But now his ex, Death, enters the picture – making for a messy situation that is perfect for entertainment.
But for anyone who is all caught up, we know that the archangel Michael is trying to make God return. And his wife and the Mother of all, Lilith, is hunting him down to carry out a plan of their own. All of humanity is at stake. If Charlotte can’t find a way to get the Deadly Sins to cooperate and work together, then her world will literally crumble.
Beautiful Redeemer has everything we know and love from the Original Sinners trilogy. Character growth (separately and together). Insight into just how deep Lucifer and Azrael’s history goes. Humanity hanging on by a thread. And more of the lore that many readers are already familiar with.
