Book
Luckily for Cammie, Chase has recently begun to notice her in class and in the dorm halls. So when they’re bunked together, they take advantage of the single bed trope. That, and Cammie channels her “inner Arwen” to go after what she wants. While they continue to spend time together once back in their old rooms, Cammie is insecure about fitting in with Chase’s circle of friends – which consists of fellow hockey players and the girls who chase them. Only not everyone welcomes Cammie with open arms. And soon she’s dealing with bullies while navigating her budding romance with the popular and charismatic athlete.
Review
Hunting knocks it out of the park once again with Chase Lovett Wants Me. It’s a fast-burn romance with plenty of steamy scenes. However, we also get sweet moments between the two lovebirds that will have readers rooting for them. Chase is into his little nerd and loves reading her spicy fanfic. Cammie overcomes her fears and supports Chase at his hockey games. Plus, fans of Helena’s work will be happy to see cameos from some beloved Toronto Terror characters.
My only gripe is that Cammie somehow has enough knowledge to write detailed LOTR smut and a lot of sexual confidence for a virgin. I’ve always found virgins with dirty minds to be unrealistic. But I could be wrong. Either way, I hope Helena decides to continue this series so that we get more of the Toronto Terror/Tilton University universe.
